On October 7, 2024, our school came alive with joy and gratitude as we celebrated Teachers’ Day! It was a day to honor the incredible men and women who guide us, teach us, and help shape our lives, just like Jesus, the greatest teacher of all time.
The celebration began with a heartwarming slideshow, filled with pictures and messages that captured our teachers’ love and dedication. As the music played and memories flashed before our eyes, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the many ways they’ve blessed our lives.
Then came a magical moment—our prefects performed a special song they had written just for the occasion! The lyrics, filled with love and thankfulness, brought tears to many eyes. It reminded us of how Jesus cared for His disciples, teaching them and loving them with all His heart.
The head prefect’s speech reminded us that our teachers don’t just prepare us for exams—they prepare us for life! “Teachers are like lights guiding our path,” he said, echoing Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Afterward, our teachers were called up one by one, showered with flowers, cards, and the warmest hugs. Seeing their smiles was like witnessing the joy of heaven—pure and radiant.
As we celebrated, we couldn’t help but think about eternal life and the lasting impact of wisdom shared in love. Teachers plant seeds that can grow forever, shaping hearts and minds for God’s kingdom.
